| Newbie |  JLH Set to appear at Kids Choice Awards on 3/29!! I'm new here but saw a commerical this morning flipping channels and saw that she is appearing at the Kids Choice Awards next Sat night. Its a commercial that Jack Black is in as he is the host and they go through the list of stars who will be there and JLH was one also he says in the commercial that this year the home viewers will have total control of the show even controlling what stars will get slimed at the show and they showed JLH's picture again during that part as well. So if you didn't know she was going to be on here is the heads up for you. Its next Sat at 8pm on Nickelodeon |

| Newbie | Nickelodeon's 2008 Kids' Choice Awards is set to explode with mega-star wattage, as pop sensation and 2007 KCA winner Miley Cyrus and Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers Band will perform live at the awards show telecast from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, Saturday, March 29 (8 p.m. ET; tape delay PT). Additional stars announced today include: Cameron Diaz; Steve Carell; Shia LaBeouf; Harrison Ford; Chris Brown; Heidi Klum; Drake Bell; Hayden Panettiere; Ashlee Simpson; Miranda Cosgrove; America Ferrera; Amy Poehler; Jennifer Love Hewitt; Howie Mandel; Josh Peck; Devon Werkheiser; and Ryan Seacrest, among many others. "Nickelodeon and the Kids' Choice Awards are about showcasing all things that are hot and now with kids, and Miley Cyrus and The Naked Brothers Band rule with our audience," said Paula Kaplan, Executive Vice President, Talent and General Manager, West Coast, Nickelodeon. | Newbie | Thanks. Glad to be a part of things here. After checking on a couple of Nickelodeon message boards it appears as if JLH will be among a group of 4 stars where they will people at home to vote which of the 4 stars they would like to see slimed and they will also be allowed to choose the way in which the choosen star gets slimed in the process. Apprently they did something similar last year and are doing it again this year. I'm guessing JLH must of given her blessing and must be up for getting slimed if they are including her name and image with that portion of the show. Should be cute and fun to watch. I will likely tivo it but will check this board for the updates because if she is not on for all that long then I won't bother to take teh time to watch the tivo of the awards show.thanks again. |

| Newbie | Here is some stuff from Nick.Com and may shed light on the messy stuff they have planned for JLH on the show. Below is some of what they have planned for KCA this year which will likely culminate in the biggest and longest Celebrity slimings in KCA History. Check it out. This year 3 stunts will be going down and you will get to choose how it all goes down. This year your fav celebs will be doing the stunts and u will get to choose how they do them.Each time a celeb completes a stunt we add buckets of slime to our giant slime vat. The Goal? A record setting amount of slime and the biggest and longest sliming in KCA History!! Event 1:Slimealition Derby- A Celeb will drive through a obsticle course on mission to bump into as many slime filled targets as possible. The more they hit the more slime we add to the vat. |

| Newbie | Just to let you all know. There is a new commercial running on tv now promoting the KCA's next Saturday and Love is featured in the commercial. I don't think I caught the whole commercial but when I caught it Jack Black was talking about how he is going to give as well as he receives to his celeb friends as it relates to the slime on the show. Then it cuts to Shia Lebouf asking himself if hes ready to be slimed then Amy Poehler of SNL Does the same thing,Steve Carrell says hes ready for the slime then they cut to JLH who appeared to be reading a script and she looks up and asks Am I going to get slimed and then the announcer promotes how the viewers will get to choose what celebs get the slime at the show and then they cut to a wide shot where the above celebs mentioned all say tune in March 29th at 8 to find out. So I'm guessing that at this point she for sure is going to get slimed on the show as thats the 2nd commercial that associated her directly with getting slimed on the show. Guess we will know a week from tonite. |

| Newbie | Just to remind everyone that the KCA starts at 8PM EST and runs till around 9:30EST and it will be on tape delay for the West Coast. Also Nick will be having some sort of either a green slime carpet or orange carpet special that will start at 5PM Est and run until the start of the show. Its gonna be stuff they show in between commercials of their shows leading to the KCA. But its likely they will interview JLH upon her arrival to get her thoughts on the show and possibly getting slimed. So there should be alot of JLH to watch and listen to on Sat night. |
