I think the writing was on the walls when they had to re-shoot the pilot, it never did well in the ratings.

I think they changed Sarah to much from how she was in Party Of Five to how she acted in Time Of Your Life, as they said in the advert this is not the Sarah Reeves you used to know.

Party Of Five also ended in the same year so maybe the story went as far as it could.
