The "Ghost Whisperer" producers, cast and CBS network pays tribute to the brave men and women and their families serving our country in Iraq. The story begins with a U.S. soldier and Iraqi war veteran who recently returned from combat with a medal in hand only to later be accused of deserting his platoon. The soldier is continuously haunted with nightmares reminding him of his time at war, specifically that night he lost his men, and it’s up to Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to find out the truth. ![]() This episode blends fiction with a dose of reality as real-life U.S. Soldier Veterans participated in this historic episode. Dustin Senella, an Iraqi war veteran, will be featured in the show, which airs tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS. Veterans from all branches of the military were invited to be part of the episode, titled "Haunted Hero." In addition to Senella, four veterans from around the country will appear. The show stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as Melinda Gordon, the eponymous ghost whisperer. The show's synopsis reads, "Melinda helps an Iraqi war veteran deal with the ghosts he's brought back with him." |

| Member ![]() ![]() | It was better than the last two episodes but after learning that Melinda has a brother and all that other crap we learned in the last episode of the second season you'd think theyd get into that story a bit more instead of just waiting till the last episodes to advance the story. The show is better when the mythological aspect of it comes out. |
