sister Act 2

so I'm watching sister Act 2 on TBS and wondering why Jen has so little
screen time in it, especially since she can (augueably) sing.

And thoughts on this?

I guess you have to bear in mind it was only her 3rd movie after Munchie 1992 and Home For Christmas 1993 and she had also been in Shaky Ground since leaving Kids Incorporated.

So even though her role was small it was still a step in the right direction for her because it was her biggest role (if not in lenght) to date.

I never thought Sister Act 2 was as good as the first one but it was still a good movie and Love played her role just right, bigger and better things were just around the corner. And she did say in an article I read that she learnt a great deal from Whoopi Goldberg so all was not lost.

It was a nice movie and it was sad Love was not in it more, it would have been nice if she had a solo song.

But she did blow you a kiss at the end....

But yeah, it was a small role, but she had a few great actresses to learn from and that's more improtant than having a starring role at times.

before her acting skills were really developed :0

it was a stepping stone for her.. working with Whoopi Goldberg is a great step when you're young in Hollywood. The movie is the best musical I've seen. There was a talk for a 3rd installment but Whoopi declined as she don;t like the movie at all. Actually the part 2 was just done after Disney agreed to finance her movie if she did the sequel..
