All the other networks had their events last week...what happened to CBS..i was looking forward to having some new pics of Love.

ALL of the major networks were last week, including CBS. CBS was May 16th. A search will bring up the primary list

No photos, no fanfare, I suppose CBS didn't need to promote. Your guess is as good as mine.

If they didn't need to promote, then does this mean that GW was going to be given a third series anyway? I mean it sounds like the show was guaranteed to be renewed.

I sort of meant that CBS has had another good season so they may not have had much fanfare over the new season. It still would have been great if they promoted their shows at the Upfront event, especially Ghost Whisperer.

You would have thought CBS would have used Love in some way, now we are going to have to wait until season 4....

Yeah they are using her...ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK. Notice how ratings kind of slipped this year and NO JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT AT THE UPFRONTS compared to the last couple of years? See I think CBS is just letting Love have this next season coming up for grins and giggles. I have a Funny feeling they are bigger things hapenning @ CBS...and none of them have Jennifer Love Hewitt in the blueprint.

A major network will cancel a series if it fails, they aren't about to be a charity for anyone, no matter the foolish thought of grins or giggles. Celebrities in attendance at Upfronts are completely unimportant. The Upfront reports about renewals or cancellations are all that matter.
