| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm hear you on that one Trotter... I was a bit surprised to read about Love's fashion line because I didn't view her as an overt endorser. However, after a few days of thinking over these are my true feelings on the subject: - Let's not underestimate Love. She's surprised me many times and there is no reason I can think of why she wouldn't in this instance. She has remarked publicly about how hard it is for women with hips/curves to find clothes so if she establishes that as her niche I'm sure she'll do fine — actually I'm expecting she'll raise some eyebrows. - If she doesn't wear the product herself then my admiration for her will have slipped somewhat. She's an artist at heart so I hope she doesn't compromise her integrity and attach her name to anything less than great quality and designs that she is proud of and embodies her attitude. Especially just for the sake of being branded across Sears. (I think the logo is a good start though and probably wouldn't have been so optimistic had I not seen it). As for the menswear thoughts, I'm sure us guys would be more thrilled at the idea of her removing our clothing than adding to it... |
