Hey, Everyone

On May 18,2007 this movie with our favorite Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is coming to a theater near you in the USA! This is info is available @ www.fandango.com click on the link coming soon and you will find the movie listed. I wish I could invite everyone on the board to come and watch this movie @ my work. I work for one of the largest movie theater chains in the country Regal entertainment group, but sadly my boss will not approve 100+ plus movie tickets for everyone on the board, even if I am the assistant manager @ my local theater.

Keep in mind that "The Suburbans" wound up being pulled from many theaters, in my town it was only in the theater for three days and disappeared. If "The Devil/Shortcut" comes to your town DON'T hesitate, DON'T wait, it could leave very quickly. There's just no way the movie will make much money. They almost have to have a DVD now, it's the only logical way to get back some of the lost millions.

I would it would come to one of my theaters in town

I know of a theater by my house that plays the less mainstream movies and alot of foreign flicks so maybe they will play this one, If not the nearest regal movie theater is 3 hours away in Chicago And I wouldn't mind driving down to see Love it has been a long time since I first saw the trailer.

I'm sure many of you have never seen the original poster for the Anthony Hopkins/JLH remake of "The Devil and Daniel Webster". It's pretty hard to find anymore. As far as I know, it was only an advanced printing. I've never seen any other promotional art for this title, other than a small piece of artwork for the soundtrack material. What makes this so cool is all the history it contains. Directly below the title it reads "an Alec Baldwin film", just below that it reads "NOW IN PRODUCTION" and along the top edge it reads "AFM 2001: FILM MARKET PREVIEW".

The distributor has finally updated their website to list "Shortcut to Happiness". The director is now credited as Harry Kirkpatrick, not Alan Smithee or Alec Baldwin. An imdb search for the director curiously comes up with an Italian director by the name of Umberto Lenzi - who has been credited with several different names. It seems a very strange choice.

It's also interesting that Yari Film Group haven't listed the release date, even though it has been published elsewhere. Does anyone else think the release might be pushed back (again)? I mean, the current release date is only 1.5 months away, and there is still no promo materials (trailers, posters, website, or even production stills).

I can't wait to see this movie. Let's hope they start the promotion soon. I'd love to see a new trailer
