Phoenix Coyotes to star on GW (season 2)

It's Jeremy Roenick. I have no idea who this guys is, sorry I don't get to see the NHL over here due to it being on so late. All I know is that he's going to play a spirit of a baseball player (wouldn't hockey have been suitable?) See info below:

Phoenix Coyotes center Jeremy Roenick will showcase his talents beyond the rink when he guest stars as an assistant baseball coach in the November 24 episode of the hit CBS drama, “Ghost Whisperer.”

In the episode “Giving Up The Ghost,” Melinda (played by star Jennifer Love Hewitt) encounters the angry ghost of a former pro baseball player who died in a car accident. The ghost attempts to take over the body of Justin Cotter, a young pitcher, during a high school game. Art (played by Roenick) is preparing his team for a critical game when the powerful spirit confronts their star pitcher.

"I really enjoyed appearing on Ghost Whisperer," said Roenick. "I've always been a big fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt and it was a great experience. Jennifer was awesome to work with and all the actors and crew were fantastic. I look forward to doing it again soon."

Roenick, who shot his guest-starring role during the off-season, has made acting appearances before, including performances on Disney Channel's The Jersey, HBO's Arliss and the daytime drama One Life to Live.

Roenick returned to the Coyotes this season after previously spending five campaigns with the club from 1996-97 to 2000-01. The nine-time NHL All-Star ranks 3rd all-time among U.S.-born players in both goals (485) and points (1,146). Roenick also ranks 9th all-time on the Coyotes’ franchise scoring list with 355 points with the team.

Melinda will wish she was behind a fence when the evil spirit starts throwing baseballs at her with that pitching machine. It looks like poor Melinda gets hit a couple of times then throws her into a glass case. No wonder Jim is on the war path. well until he gets knocked on his butt.

I don't recall Love ever saying that she's a fan of any sport, she's never discussed a sport on Leno? She has been seen at a couple of baseball and football games; baseball with a boyfriend and football to sing at halftime and another for a superbowl or playoff I believe. This must be the GW episode they postponed due to the poor guy dying back east.

She has said in the past her favorite sports are hockey and boxing. Her favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Yeah that's true, thing is she's never been photographed in attendance, she never talks sports, that's the difference here. Remember the ancient photos of Love working out with boxing gloves, she also did the kickboxing stuff for The Tuxedo. She's never been seen at these events and you know the paparazzi would go crazy over that. She's been spotted at a couple of ballgames and one was with some guy, I doubt she really follows any sports.

She more than sometimes likes to get goofy during interviews.

Thanks for the info i love love. But I'm like you, I don't think she follows a sports team like Dave and I do. (we don't follow the same team). Besides it'd draw too much attention if she was there.

Look closely at any boxing match, there are tons of beautiful women in the crowd, we humans are pretty strange when it comes to violence. We pray for peace but always hunger for chaos, can't really live without it.
