Whispers about 'Follies'
Many guests at Friday night's benefit for the Phoenix Theatre were whispering about the great auction items - including a walk-on role for the TV show Ghost Whisperer. Philanthropist Carole Machiz had the highest bid for the showbiz item.

Dinner in the theater's adjacent Phoenix Art Museum followed the Follies, the musical comedy at which community volunteers and leaders acted and danced on stage with the professionals.
