As it did much of last season, CBS won the overall ratings title Friday with a night of premieres. NBC made it interesting, however, and eked out a win in the adults 18-49 demographic. CBS averaged a 7.1 rating/13 share among households for the night to beat NBC's 6.7/12. ABC finished third at 5.1/9, and FOX and The CW tied for fourth at 2.6/5. NBC, however, led the way among adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating, just beating CBS' 3.1. ABC drew a 2.2 in the advertisers' favorite demographic. FOX, 1.4, took fourth over The CW, 1.3. "Deal or No Deal" led off the night for NBC with a 7.4/13 at 8 p.m. The season premiere of "Ghost Whisperer" delivered a 6.4/12 for CBS. ABC re-aired the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere. "Nanny 911," 2.6/5, put FOX in fourth, a little ahead of "Friday Night Smackdown!," 2.5/5, on The CW. CBS took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 7.6/13. NBC dropped to second with "Dateline," 5.6/10. ABC's "Men in Trees," 5.5/10, held steady from last week despite increased competition. "Smackdown!," 2.7/5, moved The CW ahead of FOX and the "Celebrity Duets" results show. At 10 p.m., the season premiere of CBS' "Numb3rs" posted a 7.4/13. NBC's "Law & Order" season premiere was close behind at 7.3/13. ABC got a 5.4/10 from "20/20." Ratings information is taken from fast national data, which includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are preliminary and subject to change. |

GW has averaged 10 million every week, I thought the premiere would draw more but the competition is tougher. At least it is holding its own. Some people might have not enjoyed the ending of Season 1 |
