The AVI file is bigger (960x540) and got better quality. And the WMV one's sound is not synchronized with its video (640x480), but maybe this issue is caused by my bootleg Microsoft codecs (I'm using GNU/Linux).

We noticed that although Hewitt appeared on several shows to promote the season premier of Ghost Whisperer (The View, The Early Show, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien), the only one where she really got dressed up was for Conan. We wonder if she has special feelings for the red-headed comedian after meeting him at the Emmy Awards? (Bad Bears! You know that Hewitt has a great boyfriend right now and would never be unfaithful!)

Conan said it best when he told Hewitt "you look gorgeous!" as she walked onto his set. We noticed the dress looked familiar so we checked the files in the back of our cave and determined it was the one she wore to the Lili Clair Foundation fund raiser in November 2004.

Hewitt looked fetching in this dress in 2004 but not special. But something happened in the next two years because when she wore it again on Conan she did look gorgeous -- she just gets more beautiful all the time! As she has said herself, she is wearing the dress instead of the dress wearing her.

So what happened. Well, some of it is due to her having filled out over the last two years. But that is not enough to account for that much of the difference. We believe she looks so much better now because her self-confidence is so much higher. In 2004 Hewitt was coming off a slump and couldn't get herself arrested, much less land a movie or TV job. Today she has several recent movies to her credit and is carrying a hit TV series. This shows in the way she looks!
