Love Party of Five captures - Season #2 Episode #2

Here comes again the Party of Five obsessed dude :-)

As I said in the first post, the deal is about "forcing" Sony Pictures to release the next PoF seasons. And the only way is buying the two first ones.

So I will post Love captures of every episode, for all of you who had bad luck and never watched Party of Five. If it encourages you to buy the DVD's, that would be great. What will you get in exchange for about 40 euro? Two things:

1. Jennifer Love Hewitt, in one of Her best works.
2. An *excellent* TV drama that has marked an entire generation. Just read Amazon reviews and check out.

Joining Julia and Justin in the "Big Kiss Off". But Sarah has nobody to kiss... :(

Welcoming Bailey back, after his trip. Before saying goodbye, he slightly touchs Sarah's arm. Then Bailey goes away and she stays there for a moment, smiling and rubbing that arm of her, just because her beloved has brushed it. Can anybody be more romantic, cute and lovely?

But Party of Five is much more than Sarah and Bailey. At the beginning of this 2nd season, I really liked the "love triangle" formed by Julia, Griffin and Justin (Justin is my favorite secondary character).

By the way, about Amazon reviews, here's something interesting I'd like to share with you (if you still aren't convinced). Again, maybe spoilers:

The first time I saw Hewitt when the show was still on, besides her beauty and charisma (not to mention how sweet the character is, especially in later seasons), I was captivated by how her eyes moved. I had never seen someone as star-crossed as her. I don't see it the same way now and I can see why those who dislike Hewitt for her shifty eyes and say she mainly acts with them have a point. But she is still an excellent actress and demonstrates it both with her interaction with Scott Wolf and in her adoption story line. I HATED it when she was booted off the show and it was somewhat pathetic what happened to her spinoff, not to mention how she wasn't brought back for the series finale. But here in season 2 you get the first of four years where we are graced with her presence in the role that really started her career. (Karl, a reviewer).

correct! a lot may not agree that Love is a great actress because they're just insecure of how great she is.. sorry but love is a bonafide star!

The standard DVD market is sort of falling apart as Blu-Ray and HD start to be introduced to the public. It won't help old unreleased titles like PO5. As the new formats start to take hold we're going to see quite a bit of change in new releases. Brand new anti-copy protections, multiple levels of protection no less. The necessity for new generation televisions, new computer software and monitors, not pretty. DVD will hang around and die, taking the same death path that VHS and laserdisc took. Luckily standard DVD is a huge market so the bite won't hurt for a while.

I hope they release the rest of the seasons aswell...for those people thinking of buying the box sets but are unsure if PO5 is any good anymore I'll tell you this....IMO the show is AS GOOD if not BETTER than I had remembered because being older now I can understand the themes and issues addressed in the show. Just my two cents

It was really sad that Sarah had nobody to kiss in the school "Kiss Off" she even had to act as lookout for the teachers....

Party Of Five was such a huge part of Love's career and should never be forgotten.....

Naughty Sarah having a quick peek at Bailey changing his shirt, it was great the way the tables changed and Maguire did the same to Sarah in the first Time Of Your Life.....

I recently marathoned seasons 1 and 2 and I have to agree that POF is even better than I remembered. That's two more cents because anyone with cents should buy the dvds.

Party of Five is excellent. I watched my season one and two dvds within like a week each. I flew threw them. I just hope the rest comes out....season three is AMAZING.
