| Cannot live without Love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't know if this subject has been talked before, or even if this is the right place. So excuse me if it's not. To deal with it, I need to extend a little more my self-introduction. As I sayed before, I felt for Love in Her 'Party of Five' debut. At the ending of that chapter, Sarah and Bailey were sitting next to a beach student party. She was in love with him (lucky kid), but he still remembered and missed Jill, his dead girlfriend. Every time Sarah looked at him, she gave him one of her delicious smiles; but when turning her eyes into the night, her little face was filled with sadness. What a deep beauty gave Love to that melancholy: she was close to the man she felt for, but their hearts were in distant places. In the next chapters and seasons, Sarah had no choice but to struggle for her relationship. And I laughed, enjoyed, suffered and cried with her. Specially when Bailey was unfaithful to her: the scene in which he said to Sarah "I had never loved you" was a shock for me (fantastic chapter, by the way). 'Party of Five' ended and Love returned to the big screen. But it will never be the same for me. Yes, I enjoyed movies like 'Heartbreakers' or the '...did last summer' saga. Her beauty and performance skills continued growing up and I still loved Her so much, but... I felt something was missing. In every movie, She was more or less a "desire object". Somehow I understand why scriptwriters gave Her those roles; there's no need to remember that Love is the prettiest girl even treated Earth's surface. Male characters always surrendered to Her charms, while Hers did almost nothing. Until 'If Only'. Man, I would call it "a bomb exploiting into my heart". When the movie ended and the credits appeared, I was able to do nothing for ten minutes: just standing over a lake of tears. It was like returning to the good old times (the 'Party of Five' years), but concentrating a million emotions in just one hour and a half. Next days I become sort of a zombie, only reacting every time the 'Take my Heart Back' song returned to my head and gave me gooseflesh. I'm not sure if there's something like a "love overdose", but what I feeled (and still remains) is the heaviest drug I've ever tried. Now that I have recovered a little, there's one thing I'm sure: since 'Party of Five' won't return, I want more 'If Only' movies. I need to watch Love in drama scripts. Histories in which She laughs and shows us Her sweet smiling... but also cries and struggles, falls and recovers, loses love and finds it again. Like a normal girl, not a sexual idol. Cause we all know Love is way much more than a pretty face and a perfect body: there are tons of girls out there that match those "features". The reason we consider Love high above them is the feelings She give us, when acting, when singing or just when being interviewed. Deep feelings when we hear Her laughs (never tired of that), but also when we see Her eyes covered by tears. That's the true beauty of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Am I wrong? So, Mrs. Hewitt, if somehow You are reading these words, please accept (or produce) one 'If Only' every three of four movies (I would like every movie, but I understand Hollywood's needings). Just for showing fans like me there's at least one reason to keep living: carrying You in our hearts. Again, apologies for my English writing. And thank you for the welcome. Raul/mced PS: 'Ghost Whispered' is being shown in spanish "4" channel and I've got four or five chapsters saved... but I'm afraid of watching them. It's a stupid fear, I know. Will they show the Love sexual idol or the Love normal girl I want? Maybe I'll wait to the "If Only effect" to be vanished, and then start watching them. ![]() Last edited by mced : 07-14-2006 at 04:56 PM. |

If Only was a project she wanted to work on for years and she never gave up, your right it was the best work she has ever done. As Ghost Whisperer grew Love's acting grew with it hopefully the second season will allow Love to develop even more, I know better movie roles are just around the corner for her. |

| Cannot live without Love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I hope you're right, Trotter. Love's happyness is my happyness, and every bad criticism She receives, is a dagger nailed in my heart. Despite not being acclaimed by those "experts", I think 'If Only' is on the good direction. She has been working hard for almost twenty years and deserves better luck. By the way, finally I've watched the first GW chapter and it has given me good vibrations. ![]() |

Someone who loves Love for her goofy, giggly, adorably sarcastic personality and sweet smile that just screams "I'm just as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside" ...And If Only is totally the best movie ever. |
