The Anne Hathaway Rumor to be the new GW castmate

So rumors are all in the air that Anne Hathaway is about to appear in Ghost Whisperer as Melinda's cousin. No word yet if the rumor is about to be true but we'll see. With Mayheim being rumored to be the new castmate it's still sort of hanging in the air if Hathaway will be on the show. Having her will be a help and her as Melinda's cousin will be convincing. Love not knew Anne personally but they met at The Princess Diaries Prem and people find resemblance in the two in some ways.

We'll just wait and see

Well, I thought I read (maybe in the TV Guide somewhere) that the Camryn thing didn't work out. The producers and her couldn't reach any agreement. I'm not sure if that was just a rumor though, either. I think Anne is a better choice to add to the cast then Carmyn though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for the info.

Yes, I believe Camryn may already be history, it's a shame Camryn is a very powerful actor. Another beauty like Hathaway may be nice, not sure about her acting, never really seen her work. Never saw her initial success in Princess Diaries, I bought Havoc to see a different kind of role, haven't even played it yet. Didn't see Brokeback yet either so I'm pretty clueless on this person. Prada is doing fairly well at the box-office.

I highly doubt Hathaway would be a regular on the show. She'd guest star at the most, I'd think. She's got a nice little movie career going now, and I don't see her settling down on TV for a supporting role.

Havoc wasn't all that, but you get to see (body) parts of her you didn't in The Princess Diaries. She was alright in Brokeback Mountain, but wasn't in it enough to really matter, though you see a bit of her parts in that, too. I think she said that she only shot for a few days on Brokeback.

As veterans of the big screen return to television series, the likes of James Woods and Ray Liotta. You're right she's young and may continue on, she may also grab the easy money too.

the thing here is that Anne is creating a good movie career so its probably imposible for her.. her agent might demand a great role..

Anne Hathaway has a thriving film career. There's no reason why she would do GW. If Love was getting meaty film roles she wouldn't be doing TV either.

I don't really think Anne would agree to be a regular on GW, either... I have enjoyed the few of her movies that I have seen. "The Devil Wears Prada" was great! It would be nice to see her guest star, though...
