Hope For The Devil And Daniel Webster

Thanks to Jim who sent me an e-mail this morning about Love's long lost movie The Devil And Daniel Webster....

The film is being sold overseas by Bob Yari (producer of Crash) who acquired the rights from the insurance company that was forced to pay a whopping $16 million under the bond agreement.

Hopefully we could see the film in the theaters by the end of the year, barring any unforseen lawsuits that might pop up.

It actually looked like a decnt film from the trailer so hopefully it will happen.

You right Mikey along with Love there were some really big names cast, it would be a crime not to see it in some form......

almost sound like it will be released in theaters over seas but might end up going straight to video in the states.

I've had my hopes dashed so many times with news that this film will be released. I'm just going to assume its never going to be released until someone posts a link where I can order the DVD.

If the movie will be released in the US, movie heavyweights should probably cast Love in other big budgeted films. It will help restore her movie career luster.. That's our Christmas wish...

Anothony Hopkins alone, with Love no less. This is exciting, they'd talked about a revised version over a year ago, they'd talked so much about this title for years. I wonder if they finally showed it in Russian movie theaters as rumored a while back? There's a complete music soundtrack CD floating around too, especially one in Europe (probably a bootleg) and another here in the States (legitimate but very very expensive). No Love on it, just the music bed material.

As Love fan's we are used to waiting to see some of her movies, but I really think this one could be worth the wait.....

showing it in theaters would help Love but if it's out just on a DVD, I don't think it will... who knows, she might won an oscar... c"') I had seen the scene where she confronted Anthony Hopkins in jury and pretty good!!
