'GHOST' OF A CHANCE

The "Ghost Whisperer" casting forces have been working to fill the role of Lauren Boyd -- aka the character who'll become the new best friend of Jennifer Love Hewitt's Melinda now that Andrea (Aisha Tyler) is among the ghostly legions, a plane having crashed on her car in last season's finale. Lauren is a real-estate agent who loves antiques, and who, it is hoped, meets a better fate than Andrea, both in terms of longevity and character development. Production resumes next month.

That could be the character that Ms. Manhein might fill. That is just what I am piecing together. We can just wait and see what happens.
