"Truth about Love" on Lifetime

Did Love have a cold and a blocked up nose all the way through this movie

or was that her "English" accent?

I wanted to ask her if she wanted a "Hot Lemon" cold remedy drink or a handkerchief.

Oh, also, the movie was censored so we did not hear Love say "F***"

But she did say "Bollocks" (uncensored)

Since I am English and the movie was set in England/Scotland and all the rest of the actors were British I could not get over Love's

"accent"

which ruined the rest of the move for me.

In Britain there is the idea that "British" movies need an American actor so that the movie can be sold in the US. I think Love was that actor in this movie. A British actress would have performed just as well and Lifetime would never have shown the movie.

"Overall was it good?" - NO. It could have been much better.

I watched the movie last year and it was great. though the movie itself might not be her best, Love still rocks!

Love's English was fine...

I know most of the film was fimed in Bristol with the train scene in Cardiff, I don't think any of it was filmed in Scotland.

It's very middle-of-the-road, simple plot, Love is pretty fair. Since the plot has been delivered hundreds of times in hundreds of prior movies this one doesn't stand out at all. Not only Love's voice but the entire voice track is muddy. Indie flick with no budget, cheap sound very cheap sound.

Her deeeeep voice made me laugh a lot but there were some scenes in the movie I enjoyed.
