Is Andrea now a ghost?

I don't really have any idea what's happening on the Ghost Whisperer cause your advance and we're just finished the "Hope and Mercy" episode here in the Philippines. Well, I don't think it will be a good idea to let Andrea died in the first season. She's an important character and really funny and so Aisha Tyler. What happened to her? I really like her and so Love and David and GW. Thanks

I'm still upset that she died. I loved Aisha and her character, Andrea. I'm thinking she'll be back for atleast a few episodes by the way she left. I let you find out what happens to her orangeskydice. As to her future we all have to wait for that one to see.

Perhaps the title of this post should be changed with a warning about spoilers. We don't want to ruin the end of the first season for those who haven't seen it.

Seems like several threads are already spilling the beans. Even this thread starter was written by someone that hasn't had a chance to see all the episodes yet, and knows about the end already. Sort of hard to police the spoilers at this point?

Her character has never been important, sadly they never took advantage of her talents other than hanging around an antique store.

I heard Aisha wanted off the show to pursue more lead roles.

We're very confused about the ending at this point. We first thought that Aisha Tyler was written out of the show because of the rumors. But where is the official announcement that she was no longer a cast member? We thought that was being held back until the last episode was aired but we haven't been able to find anything.

Being dead on any other show means at best a character is relegated to flashbacks. But on Ghost Whisper Andrea's spirit could continue doing the same things as before with the restriction that only Melinda and her mother could see and hear her.

We really like Dave's idea that Andrea could get Homer away from the wide-brimmed had man (but we don't agree with his idea to get rid of Jim). Guess we'll just have to wait and see what developes.

hey whatever happened to the ghost dog? maybe andrea can now take care of that dog since she too is a ghost. maybe help the dog cross over.

anyway i'm still wondering that if andrea is now gone who's going to help mel run the store, they were equal partners. melinda might end up having some probs running the store unless someone helps her out.

No official announcement probably means she's not done yet. She even casually talked about her being on vacation on her Ferguson show appearance just last week. A series like this could change directions and take on a "friendly ghost" for a season, not a good idea to me, but I'm no television writer either, I mean we already have two "unfriendly ghosts" in the mix. Definitely seen shows fizzle out with strange story arcs. Maybe we'll see Aisha for a short time, in the very least. The two evil characters are a big factor with all this, we'll have to wait and see where the writers intend to go now.

Where did you hear this? I've only heard that people "have heard" that she was leaving the show here (with no sources cited).

I'm not saying that she is or isn't doing anything, but from what I've seen, she's happy on the show and it looked like she planned on being back. Then again, that could have just been her not wanting to give anything away.

In my opinion, she pretty much has to come back, the length of stay is in question. I agree, where are the sources for these rumors of leaving the series, show them to us so we can discern for ourselves. I have a question too... I don't recall her ever saying she had any future plans other than making a film? Talk about perfect cliffhanger strategy. They'll keep us guessing for months on end, exactly what the CBS promotional machine would want. NOW Aisha would be asked some very interesting questions in an interview, and what in the world would she say, I bet she's already been told what, and more importantly what NOT, to say.

ARRRGH! Please don't put spoilers in the title of the post. I was saving the last two episodes until I had enough time to enjoy them and now you tell me the ending? Please include the word "Spoiler" in the title of you post and spoilers inside.

Someone should definitely change the title of this thread as it contains major spoilage!

That aside, I am finding that my source was just an unsubstantiated rumour mill in full swing! I have not been able to find any official news on her future with the show!

I like, no I love the idea of her helping the dog crossover, but I would think that would mean they would crossover together?

Our theory is that the Wide Brim Man has both Homer the dog and Andrea. Since Andrea was upset at Melinda for not telling her she was dead, she was easy prey for Wide Brim Man. We're pretty sure he has Homer because this episode strongly implied he was the one who took all the ghosts away in The Vanishing.

An answer to your second question would be pure speculation and we bears love to do that. Andrea's brother will inherit her share of the store, want a lot of money for it (remember he's a wheeler-dealer), but Jim and Melinda won't have the money. Melinda will be forced to seek out a new partner for her store. Our guess is that it will be -- her mother!
