I thought someone in here might be interested in the lyrics for the songs, so here's an extract of one of them:

If I might add something important, though ...
The very first line of the song is:
"Today -- today, I bet my life."
Then it goes right into
"You have no idea ..." etc. -- and the rest is just as you posted it.
The lyrics are great -- the melody is beautiful and soaring. Great song. I almost wish someone would sneak it onto the radio and start stirring up some reaction, build some momentum for this film, dammit!! :D
P.S. jennyfan: where did you find the lyrics, anyway? Did you remember them from when you saw the film? that would be pretty remarkable ... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Interesting. Simple. Lyrics that are too much more revealing? Lots of songs take an ironic twist after the artist's/singer's fate is compromised.

I like them both for different reasons: My Love Will Show You Everything is a rousing number -- big, uplifting, emotional, crowd-pleasing. Works great in that scene, too. Just perfect. And Love absolutely kills. I think I like it slightly more than Take My Heart Back, which is also very good, but more moody, melancholy. It's pretty, but I think the first song is more memorable.
I really can't wait for all of you to see the movie and hear the songs. The waiting is driving me crazy!!
