No Recurring Ghosts (I Mean, Guests)

Some were expecting the evil-looking laughing
man from the previous episode to re-appear.

But, he didn't. Is van Praagh blowing a chance
to have recurring ghost(guest)stars?

Then, maybe....that might not be such a good
idea...LOL!

He'll probably pop up again. They'll just show a little clip of him at the beginning of the episode so people will remember.

Firstly, the episodes are not being shown in their filmed order, Love had mentioned that some details could show up in a couple or several episodes later, if at all. So far they haven't really serialized anything. There wasn't closure for the ghost dog in the last installment. How about the ghosts at the mortuary that briefly spoke to Love, remember them? No follow-up there either.

On the being-aired-out-of-order thing, has anyone else noticed that there's snow in some episodes and otherwise great weather in others?

This isn't a show that necessarily needs to be seen or shown in any specific, set order. Each episode is mostly self-contained, though certain 'rules' of Melinda's gift may be have been explained before, which would make more sense of certain topics. As long as Melinda isn't 26 this week and 45 next week, this really shouldn't be a problem.

I think that spreading out 'recurring' roles over multiple, non-consecutive episodes is a good idea. You get an "Oh, that's right, he was in such-and-such episode a few weeks ago" feeling. It wold seem to make sense, too, that not every situation gets resolved in the few days that an episode covers.
