I have heard a rumour that Love is replacing Keira Knightley in Pirates 2 and 3.

Anyone know if there is some truth to this.

first pirates of caribbian was good but with Love it would be even better...like all films [img]graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img] -> [img]graemlins/spin.gif[/img] -> [img]graemlins/faint.gif[/img]

I'm not sure where you heard that. They're actually filming both of the sequels right now. It'd be really hard for Love to film 'Pirates' in the Bahamas and GW in LA at the same time ;) .

As Brent said they have already started filming them, and Love is far to busy filming G/W, they even had to cut her part down in Garfield 2 because of this.

In the October 2005 issue of Esquire (the one with Keira Knightley on the cover), it's confirmed that Keira is about to start filming 'Pirates 2 & 3'.

I don't think so, they've been filming for a while, even Orlando Bloom mentioned he was already filming during his interview for Elizabethtown on Jay Leno a short time ago.

I can't imagine them shooting their foot off or sinking their ship by replacing one of the most important stars in the original.

IMDB states they had been filming before June and had probably resumed filming in August:

Comments: Shooting stopped June 10 so Verbinski can do some post-production work; lensing will resume in mid-August.
