| LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Fast National ratings for Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 Another solid night for "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numb3rs" led CBS to a ratings win Friday. CBS averaged a 6.8 rating/12 share in primetime to lead the field (its numbers include an NFL game in a handful of markets). NBC, 5.8/10, took second with its best Friday performance in several weeks. ABC was third at 4.4/8, followed by FOX, 2.7/5, and UPN, 2.5/4. The WB trailed with a 1.6/3. The story was the same among adults 18-49, with CBS' 3.0 rating on top. NBC, 2.3, finished second in the demographic, and ABC was third at 2.1. FOX's 1.7 was good for fourth, beating UPN, 1.3, and The WB, 1.1. "Ghost Whisperer," 7.5/13, posted the night's best rating for CBS at 8 p.m. "Dateline" averaged 5.8/10 for NBC. "Supernanny" put ABC in third, ahead of "The Bernie Mac Show," 2.7/5, and "Malcolm in the Middle," 2.4/4, on FOX. "Friday Night Smackdown!" was fifth for UPN, beating an hour of "What I Like About You" on The WB. NBC took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Three Wishes," 6.3/11. CBS fell one spot to second with "Threshold," 5.7/10, while ABC remained in third with "Hope & Faith," 4.1/7, and "Hot Properties," 3.8/6. "Killer Instinct" was fourth for FOX, improving slightly on its lead-in. "Smackdown!" averaged 2.7/5 for UPN, beating the 1.8/3 The WB got from "Reba" and "Twins." At 10 p.m., "Numb3rs" put CBS back on top with a 7.1/13. ABC's "20/20" was second at 5.4/10, beating a rerun of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 5.3/9, on NBC. | My only question involving the newest ratings report is does it coincide with the newest episode that was entitled "Lost Boys"? I thinking it does being that the report was posted October 21st (the night it aired) but I'm double-checking and asking toward anybody who'd know that. Thanks. Out! |
