ANOTHER one of Love's friends was on Ghost Whisperer this week

It's becoming quite a habit, this time around it was Bruce Weitz. He was the the guy who survived the fire on the episode Lost Boys last night on Ghost Whisperer. This same actor co-starred on Love's old television series called "Byrds of Paradise", he portrayed the family shrink, Murray Rubenstein. Franny (Love) was a rebellious youth who was having troubles facing the family tragedy so her father had her see a doctor, Murray. He was a recurring character since the whole family were having troubles with their mother's death.

Yeah, I got an email from another site that
said the character "Ernie" was played by the
SAME guy who was in "Byrds of Paradise". It
was even labelled as a "Byrds of Paradise"
(semi) re-union (LOL!)

The entertainment business is "incestuous".

But trying to re-live OTHER shows that JLH
has done via THIS one could sink "Ghost
Whisperer"...because we know how short-lived
"Byrds...." was.

No other shows are being relived. What percentage of people who have watched the show know that they've had guest stars that Love's worked with before? Until she gets some Po5 castmates to do episodes, 99.9% of the audience won't notice.

I'm usually stuck in that 00.1% category, comes with the Love fanatic territory. Weitz's character on Byrds was pretty darn good too. He didn't come across as just the simple shrink with two lines here and there, he became somewhat personable. It's a show that should have been given a better chance, there are so many decent series that hit the dumpster.

We're talking about a pretty good fine actor here. He was great on last episode. I think he can also be great with a leading role even as a bad guy in a movie.
