the main stream rock meidia has over looked the tallent of jlh for too long and i for one think it's time for us as fans to unite and let the rest of the world know how detacated we are to this cause. all we need is 8000 to sign the petition and jlh will be in.

You don't have to be a Rock Star to be inducted. It's more of a "modern" (last century or so) thing encompassing most popular music.

The plastic-nosed one was inducted because he has written and sung several hits and that also includes several hits with The Jackson Five. He's an icon whether people like him anymore or not.

Love has zero hits, it's not going to happen. There are hundreds of much more worthy, talented musicians/groups waiting to be inducted. There have been voting campaigns for many acts, and many still await recognition.

How do I say this and still show respect for JLH and everyone here??? OK, first off... R&R hall of fame has rules... like it must be 20 years since your first release. I dont know when JLH's first release was but I'm thinking she was only 7 y/o 20 years ago. (even if she released a song then... I doubt she wants to put it up to judge.). I love her work, both acting and singing, but, I don't think her singing is better than some of the bands that have been passed by. It took The Allman Brothers 2 or 3 years to get in. The Clash only made it 2 or 3 years ago. As much as I love JLH.. I just dont think she's on the scale of the Clash. Maybe when she change's people's political ideals like The Clash she will be welcomed to the Hall of Fame. However, if she keeps up her work with Veterns, she'll definitly make it into the USO's hall of fame. (A much more prestigious honor.)

Ironically enough, 'Rolling Stone' music critics did refer to some of her music as 'Road House Rock'! I could'nt agree more! She is the BEST!
