Party of 5 Season 2

Has anyone heard any news on when Party of 5 season 2 will be out? Last I heard the release date was sometime in November, but I cant seem to find it...must not be out. Any news would be good.

I have heard that season 1 did not sell well so I am not sure if season 2 is coming out.

Where did you hear that? It probably has had weak sales though I've never read anywhere about specific sales on season one. Speculative rumors may guess that it's not coming out. The season two box release has not been updated in months other than it's delay. It was definitely delayed and wasn't released as it was supposed to be back a couple of months ago. Some of these seasonal box sets are beginning to get split up into two-part releases. In example - Lost in Space Season Two was released as Season Two - Part One and Season Two - Part Two. They also did this for the finale season of Sex and the City. I hope they don't intend to do that with PO5.

I'm a die-hard PO5 fan so I still have my hopes that they may still carry on with the rest of the series. Don't give up until they actually state the cancellation.

I dunno about the CD, but you can probably see the PO5 series on (LRW), the Lifetime Real Women network. They're going over season 1 right now. I think season 2, will start after the first of the year.

Even when the first season of PO5 was shown on TV it didn't do very well in the ratings and was nearly dropped, it was only after Love joined in series 2 that it became a really big hit.

Season one was fantastic though. Sure it was pretty much nighttime soap opera, the entire series was one huge family drama, but all the stars were just great. Matthew Fox was so great in "The Thanksgiving" episode. Everyone was heartwrenching in that particular episode. Love's character took a few episodes before she even became interesting. Sure she was beautiful but at first she was only a minor replacement for Scott Wolf's dead girlfriend; that had been pretty damn heavy. That first season was amazing in a way, it even had fans writing in to the network trying to keep it afloat since it did struggle for so long. I feel it was a complete team effort and not just Love's addition at all. Of course I took a fancy to her, but I loved all the characters and found the writing to be tasteful. Even the music was very cool, adding popular songs here and there that truly fit the situation, not many shows ever pony up the rights for original songs.
