so i was watching this movie called Cruel Intentions (starring Ryan Philippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair) and suddenly Sarah aka Kathryn Mertuil pics up this magazine. the name of the magazine was seventeen and guess who was on the cover!!! :eek: So I was wondering, did she get paid for that? or did the company of seventeenmagazine get paid for that?
anyway it was a cool surprise to see her in there. :cool: ive seen the movie a dozen times but never noticed [img]graemlins/depressed.gif[/img]

That must have been the best part in that movie, I have no idea if Love got anything for it...

Good question, next time I see her I'll ask if she did,if she did she can pay for the MacDonald's this time..... :D

I never noticed it, either, but I've only seen the flick once.

The magazine probably just let them use it in the movie for publicity. I doubt Love got anything for it other than the exposure.

she probably didn't get paid --
they might have done it as kind of an inside joke, since Sarah M Gellar and Love made IKWYDLS together. I bet not many people noticed. Good eye, JN!

I've noticed it too, Jenn, since the first time I saw that movie. In fact, it's the only thing I remember from that movie. Besides, I've noticed that in a bunch of movies are somewhat involved the same actors and actresess: Love, Sarah M. Gellar, Freddy Prinze, Jr. Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon, etc. Do they have certain clause in their contracts or someting else?

I think it is a very good movie, trotter... Especially for fans of Sarah Michelle Gellar. It is one of her better roles to date! You should watch it, lol!
