Now there's a first, someone complaining about a photo being "uselessly huge". Dude, if such a treasure is actually bothering you, you need to go to your browser's tool settings and set your screen to automatic image resizing, then no matter how big a photo is, it will fit perfectly in your computer's screen. Both Windows and Mozilla offer the simple setting. The photos are big because the photos are high resolution, they're quite useful, far from useless. |

they are useless for me cause such size[1577 X 2357] cant be reflected by any of my monitors:i have monitor with big diagonal[50'] but it can reflect only about 1100 x 800 points and i have monitor that can reflect 1577 X 2357 points but it has ordinary diagonal[17'].And i'm not about to make posters. If you aren't like me - you are right - such size is not uselsee, though maybe you want to look at separate parts of JLH a little bit closer. | |

You use a browser. Is it Windows or Mozilla? Both of them allow you to automatically resize ANY photo to fit exactly in your monitor's screen, no matter how big or small your monitor is. It's easy to do. For Internet Explorer go to the tools drop-down box at the top of the browser. Then click on the "Internet Options" tab. Then click on the "Advanced" tab along the top right. Then scroll down to the "Multimedia" subsection. There you will see an empty box with the description "Enable automatic image resizing". Check that box. Then MAKE SURE you click on the "APPLY" button at the bottom of the entire tool box. Once you do this you will never have a photo bigger than your monitor. No matter how big or small your monitor is. If you use Mozilla it's even easier to set this up. Click on the tools at the top of the browser, then click on the Advanced option on the left side. Then fill in the empty box for "Resize large images to fit in the browser window". Then MAKE SURE you click on the OK button at the bottom of the tool box and you're all set. There's nothing to it and you can still re-click on any photo to have it return to it's huge size. It's very simple. It's very useful. Whether you want to set it up is your call. After you've saved an image to your hard drive you can also use a program like ACDSee, and those type of viewers can do exactly the same thing, resize to fit your screen, even use a slideshow setting etc etc. Windows image viewer does the same task too.
