| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interesting for me to see this one as well as the first three. I like the premise of the show but i think it needs to have a little bit of comedy, a comic relief or something like that to make the show a bit funnier. I know it's a drama but somethimes i think it's too sad. It would be better if every friday you expect something different not the same. It would be better if you don't know what are going to be your feelings next friday, if you're gonna cry or laugh. Watching this episode i though it would be good to see a conflict beween two ghost from two different families or backgrounds. What about if the hearts recepiant person also had a ghost watching over him? what would that ghost say to the doner ghost? leave him alone? nice to know you?... I also would like to know more about the supporting actors, like Melinda's girlfriend or her husband for example, how's he doing in his job, etc. We'll probably see more of that on future episodes. Imagine being married to a woman like Melinda, you go to the kitchen and you see her talking to herself and she responds to you that she's talking to a ghost and you're like: ah!.. ok, sorry, talk to ya later lol! Still loved and waiting for the next one! PS: Did you guys see the 'Flying Nun' when Melinda went to the Hospital and the lighsts went out? lol! PSS: Well, it wasn't her but really close! :D [ October 14, 2005, 09:18 PM: Message edited by: Figue ] |

The program is only an hour long, therefore they can only go into so much detail and bring in so many characters before it gets confusing and you're not as attached to them. So while I do like your idea of seeing a ghost with the heart recepiant as well as the heart donor ghost, I don't know if there was enough time...unless they just got rid of the idea of having a fiance or significant other. I was thinking that about the other supporting characters as well. I love the scenes with Melinda and Jim...they are soooo cute! I would love to see a storyline more involved with them as a couple. As well as getting to know Andrea a little better and having a storyline involving her more. But again there's only been 4 episodes...I'm sure we'll see the characters more as the show develops. I'm lovin' it so far. Everything about it is great, in my opinion. I just keep thinking how perfect Love is for this role!! My mom actually even got into it tonight, haha, she like loves it! The next episode looks AWESOME, well they all do and have been that. :D ~Katy

Me too, i kindda wonder what's up with their private lifes, Andrea for example, what does she do when she goes to her home, visit her family, does she has problems etc. heheh But again there's only been 4 episodes...I'm sure we'll see the characters more as the show develops. People are watching so they are hitting a nerve out there. It could be interesting if they take that laughing guy at the end of the episode and screw with the happy little town of whispering ghosts. I'm hoping that they avoid comedy most of the time, it can possibly lead to a campy show. I'd like them to get even creepier and more dramatic, sans the laughtrack. I wouldn't be surprised if they throw in a lighthearted plot somewhere along the line, especially around the holidays? Get scarier get dark. | I thought it was a good episode... It wasn't as good as the other three, to me, but I liked it... I agree with what you guys said. I would like the other characters to have more to do on the show, but I'm sure they will in time.... The guy laughing at the end really creeped me out, lol... I thought that was a good touch, and hope that storyline goes somewhere... This was the first episode that I didn't get teary in, but I guess that is to be expected, lol... I also agree that Love is perfect for this role, and I hope she gets to play Melinda for years! PS: I just finished reading Aisha Tyler's (Andrea)book, "Swerve", and it is VERY funny. It is a series of short essays from her point of view... If any of you are fans of her, I suggest that you read it, too! |

Melinda is like a common life superhero helping people with her powers (or special gift) but everything she has done to this point has been kind of easy, there hasn't been anyone who interferes with her mission.

| Sometimes I get the feeling that Melinda's husband is going to die in a future episode. I hope that doesn't happen though. As for the creepy, laughing spirit guy at the end, I think he may be someone Melinda knew when he was alive, or maybe a spirit she tried to help cross over, but the spirit chose not to. I think we'll be seeing him again. |

But I haven't understood somethings! What happens when the ghost crossover? Why he leaves? What does her girlfriend say? Does she start dating the guy with the ghost's heart? Please answer me, because my English isn't very good and I get lost everytime I watch the show. It's a very interesting show. I enjoy it very much, more than Love's movies.
