So if they made a Garfield 2, and they asked Love to play Liz again, do you think she should take it, and would this would be a good career move for her..... LOVE YOUNG GIFTED & GORGEOUS |

| I don't think she would care if it was a bad career move. Even though it's not, it's still a job. :D If she had fun making the first one, I'm sure she'd be back for another. Just another movie for me to watch, if Love's in it. |

| Hmm, i think if they did do another it would be next to impossible to get Bill Murray back. So, unless they could get someone who could mimic the exact voice he gave Garfield, i think it will be a straight-to-video effort. So the answer to your question Dave. No, i don't think she should take it. Don't get me wrong, i actually quite like the movie, it made me laugh. But she's done that now and should move on to different projects. Just my opinion |

I thought the story line was good enough for the type of movie it was. It was supposed to be a cute movie aimed mostly at kids, and it did well with that. It's making pretty good money, and I'm sure DVD sales will add to the appeal of making another. If they do make a sequel, I think she should do it, and probably would. I don't think it would be that hard to get Bill Murray back, either. It's easy money for him, and I don't think he really cares all that much if people think he's "slumming" doing Garfield's voice. In the end, money talks, so I think the chances are good for another. I'll go see it, though maybe not enough times to make anyone at the theatre think I have a crush on them (that's for you, Dave ;) ). |

| I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't judge it that good. But I think it's better to not make another one. It's right that it makes some money, but it's only cause of it's a kids movie. Then it doesn't matter if it's good or not, kids like it anyway. Good acting is no needed for it and Garfield won't help Love any further with her career. She has to do more serious roles, that it at least shows she can act. Garfield is fun for one time, be done with it. |

It is NEVER bad to be in a movie that is financially successful. Being in movies that make money gets you more work. So while doing more Garfield movies won't neccessarily help her get more serious roles on her acting merits (though we all know that she does, indeed, merit those roles), it will help that she helps bring in some loot. There are a lot of good movies with great performances that no one sees. Unless you get a lot of publicity for winning an Oscar or something from one of them, it doesn't matter so much to the studios. She'll get her shot to do meatier roles regardless of the Garfield franchise. I'm happy just to see her do anything, and her wardrobe in Garfield was nice enough to want to see again . |

It all depends upon who'll be in the sequel. I mean if it's the same cast as before, then maybe do it. It would play the bills as they say, but could they come up with a better and bigger storyline? That could be the one thing that could hold it back (though saying that inferior sequels is what Hollywood studios are good at). What happens if it was a total flop? Would it affect Love's career? That's why I'm not so sure. |
