| Seeing that there are topics about who JLH should duet with, co-star with, and what songs to cover, but no "what movies she should be in a remake of," I thought I'd ask then. So what movies, if any, would everyone like to see her in a remake of? [ August 19, 2004, 10:54 AM: Message edited by: inusa_1 ] |

| Again I'm against it. I really loved The Italian Job and Gone In 60 Seconds, both are far better than the original I would say, also The Texas Chainsaw wasn't that bad. But still I prefer to see new movies. We have already many remakes and TOO many sequals. So new movies please |

| Member ![]() | BASIC INSTINCT!!!!! Not for the obvious reason either. But look what that movie did for Sharon Stone. It would turn Love Hewitt into a MEGA star, get rid of her teeny bop image and she would get tons of movie offers if she played that role. |

I couldn't think of anything to remake, outside of the possibly obvious Audrey Hepburn movies. I have heard of her interest in being the next Wonder Woman, though. I don't know what the status is on that project, but a lot of super hero and comic book movies are in the works. I think she'd make a great Wonder Woman (or anything else for that matter ;) ). |

| LOL herbert! I disagree with the Audrey Hepburn movie suggestions for the most part -- only because she took such a critical beating for playing Audrey in the TV movie. So I would skip the Audrey romantic comedy remakes for sure. But ... "Wait Until Dark" is one scary-ass movie. Audrey Hepburn plays a blind woman being stalked by drug dealers. Awesome flick -- rent it if you haven't seen it. I think that pic would be ripe for a remake and I bet Love would do a great job in a dramatic thriller like that. More character-driven than the horror movies she has done. |

...How about The Wizard of Oz? I'm not talking about some weird version like The Wiz (with Michael Jackson and Diana Ross), nor a straight, line for line thing. I think she'd be soooo cute as Dorothy. It's not probably something that she would do if it were offered, considering how she's trying to get away from the cutesy stuff, but I think that if it were written smartly enough, it could be good. | Hey....! I agree with the most of you that she shouldn't do remakes since remakes almost never becomes a hit... But if she HAD to do one I think she really would enjoy being in something like "Grease".... And I think I would enjoy it too! //Niels |

The thing about acting in a remake is, she'll probably be compared to another actress, most of the time its unfair comparison. I'd like to see her in a remake of Pretty Woman. But Julia Roberts did a heck of a job there. So she would really have to pull of something great to top that. | |
