I really liked "Me and Bobby McGee" from her last album. She sang a little of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" on Party of Five, which I really liked (plus that's one of my all-time favorite songs ). A complete version of that would be cool. I think she'd do a good version of the Bangles' "Eternal Flame," also an all-time fav of mine. "Nothing Compares 2 U," of Prince and Sinead O'Connor would be good, too. I could go on and on, but I'll let you guys chime in now ;) . What do you think? |

| I just hope she will sing her own songs and cover nothing. I mean the songs on her next cd's. Singing covers is something everyone can, right? Dancing Queen and Ben, she did both of them very well. But her version of Me & Bobbie McGee is not what I like. The original of that song is much better I would say. Once she did that song very calmly (forgot about the show), that sounded certainly a lot nicer. I just hope she will make her own songs in the future, I really like them!! |

| Saw Carole King on Jimmy Kimmel last night -- singing her classic "So Far Away." Great song. It occurred to me that Love could do a great job with that -- she sounded great singing "You Make Me feel Like a Natural Woman" when she sang with the rest of the ladies on VH-1's Women Who Rock. |
