| The release date of the R1 dvd is 19 October. Here is some info: Anamorphic Widescreen and Pan & Scan transfers English DD5.1 Surround French and Spanish Dolby Surround English, French and Spanish subtitles Audio commentary by Director Peter Hewitt and Producer John Davis Inside look: Robots sneak peek, Fat Albert sneak peek, Because of Winn Dixie sneak peek and music video; Baha Men "Holla" That isn't a lot of extra's if you ask me. The R2 UK release date is 26 November and it's a 2-disc edition. That sounds better than the R1. Dutch date is 29 November. |

| Thanks for the info Funny thing about the UK version is that Play.com have the release date as 29th November although HMV do indeed have the release as the 26th. Both are usually reliable, so i don't quite know what to think  |

When does this bad luck ends? Look at this: After The Tuxedo and Barenaked there's only bad news. 1. The Devil & Daniel Webster still hasn't a release date and maybe never will. 2. If Only , maybe just like above one. 3. The sitcom: In The Game wasn't picked up and I still don't know what's going on with that. 4. Finally there's a movie that comes out, Garfield! But it's only in dutch here  5. Party Of Five season 1 is released. But the first season that Love is in it, is season 2. And you know what? It's cancelled for now. 6. She has done movies like: A Christmas Carol, The Truth About Love and now that movie 'with that very long name'. I don't expect them in Holland actually, maybe on dvd but not soon anyway. 7 is maybe that there's still no news about her new album. Does someone has more bad news to add :( Now I just stop being a Love fan, I'm done with it! Or maybe not? Just kidding, a Love fan for life :D | |

The only drawback seems to be the extras themselves. It certainly appears to be leaning toward in-depth coverage of Garfield himself. Still, there might be a few seconds of Love so I better get it. Now there's some odd knock-off box set being offered through Choicesdirect.com. It doesn't say a thing about the contents of the box and the price difference is only around $8 to $9 more for the box set, so I'm taking a guess that it might be either an extra comic book, making of book or a plush toy added to the two disc set. It's mildly suspicious that a box set doesn't give any specifics of it's contents but the release date is still quite a ways off, and some manufacturers love to be secretive about upcoming release contents sometimes. The reason I say suspicious is the UK is famous for offering/creating many unusual box sets for CD's and DVD's that aren't available in other countries, primarily CD's. Many of the CD box sets are not legitimate releases but with a character like Garfield I'm quite sure they'll have to have the permission of the creator Jim Davis.
