kind of weird, Jen said she already had Tivo. I know why she bought it, 2 burn her Ghost Whisper show on DVD or other programs that she might want on DVD. I have a DVD recorder and have burned many shows from my Tivo. Jen, if u need me 2 install it up call me. [img]smile.gif[/img]

What's a Tivo? I've heard it mentioned before.

I'm from Australia but I think it's like a video recorder but instead of using a tape. you record on to a hard drive.

During one of her recent interviews Love did mention that her TIVO was broken.

Yeah, you can watch shows without commercials (start watching later than the show starts), and it will record shows it thinks you'll like, stuff like that... So, more than just a recorder... I think it even allows you to recrod more than one show at once, am I right, Tivo owners?

You can only record one program at a time but you can watch a program you have recorded while recording another program.

I can record two programs at once with my machine,however then you cannot watch any other station than one of those two,while it is recording.I love my machine.Here it is called a PVR (personal video recorder) I rent it for $25 a month from my cable provider.Since these boxes are always getting more modern I prefer to rent rather than buy in case newer technology come out.

Be careful not to become a Tivo junkie, though. My wife's one. She guards it like a bodyguard and will only "allow" me to adjust it to record a few shows that don't conflict w/hers due to the recording issues. Needless to say, if GW ever moves to Thursdays I am sooooo screwed.
