| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, i think it was def. a girls movie. I thought that it really wasn't that bed, it was quiet entertaining i thought. I found myself laughing at a few points, i just think that Love's preformance was great. I think we all know Love herself doesn't seem to be that way, so it was interesting to see her play a character with no heart. haha. But i am rather curious to hear some guys opinion on this movie... also, i love Katya's real name, Katy, wow i couldn't have come up with a better one. LOL, jk Oh yes, more snow for us in new england, it is still snowing here, in southern new hampshire, and i am sooo sick of it. ahhhh. | I thought it was fluffy, fast paced, and enjoyable. The first hour is pretty funny, then it turns in to more of a girly romance which I didn't think worked as well as the first half. Overall, I liked it and I'm a guy, but hey, I've been subjected to a lot of Sex & the City recently, hehe. I think Love's best performances in the last 5 years or so have been in this and Heartbreakers, she plays "mean + shallow + funny + sexy" very well. |

I thought it was rather good. It had more of a plot than the critics gave it, and I though Katya was a little deeper than most gave her credit for. I thought Love was great! She definitely showed that she can play 'adult' roles (though we all knew that she could, alreay ;) ). While it's more of a chick flick than not, as a guy, I really liked it. It didn't hurt that Love was scantily clad most of the film . Hopefully it does reasonably well ratings-wise. It's on a bunch, so hopefully a lot of people check it out. If nothing else, she has something else in her resumé that shows her versatility. I think it came out great considering how fast they shot it. |

| I think first and foremost, since the time when Jennifer played Sarah on Party of Five, her characters are very easy to fall in love with. Chick flick? Sure, but she was great in it. Jennifer has that way of making you fall for her the way that Meg Ryan did, and throw in that Jennifer is really good at doing comedy, and wears a push-up bra better than ANYBODY. :D Confessions was a great example of how Jennifer is loveable, funny, and unbelievably sexy, and let's hope it helps pave the way for some really good roles for her in the future. |

She wandered from mean to otherwise in the last few minutes. Not very convincing in my opinion, though I don't think they ever intended anything deep here. Nonetheless she wasn't too bad. She has rarely ever portrayed anyone other than the sweet Party of Five girl-next-door, with the exceptions of Heartbreakers and a couple of cancelled TV series roles in her deep past. That alone was refreshing to see. Her outfits weren't chosen for a chick flick market, that's for sure. The producers were no dummies on that angle, directly hooking the young male audience as well, a similar trick that Sex and the City also liked to employ. |

They just decided to end the show on a high note. Personally, I didn't like it (Sex and the City to be clear) at all, but I'm not exactly the target market ;) . I don't let whether or not I'm part of the target market determine whether or not I'll watch something. I watch a few shows, that, by the products that are advertised, are clearly not geared toward me. That doesn't stop me from watching them (though it does make me glad that I usually watch things from a tape so I can fast forward through those commercials ;) ). S&tC was just a bad show to me. My 'target market' remark was more about me not really supposed to be relating to it than whether or not I could or would. It's all good  |
