| Looks like this guy enjoyed the movie. He mostly talks about how sexy she is in the movie Nice pic at the site as well. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/...342/1011/SCENE Jennifer Love Hewitt heats up the screen in 'Confessions' Tom Dorsey Hot, hot, hot! That doesn't begin to describe how sizzling Jennifer Love Hewitt is as a stiletto-heeled vamp in "Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber" at 8 tonight in an original movie on Oxygen. Of course, with Love for a middle name, you're way ahead in the celebrity buzz business, but she's something else in this romantic comedy. Hewitt's character, Katya, is really just a plain old Katie. But Katya sounds so much more mysterious and exciting that she adopts the name, which tells you a lot about her from the start. The other clue is that she looks like she was dressed for the part by Frederick's of Hollywood. The Federal Communications Commission cleavage police could fill a notebook with the eyeful they'll get in several scenes. Her wardrobe, which amazingly survives without a malfunction, almost makes the Victoria's Secret models look like the women in Good Housekeeping. Oxygen is a channel primarily aimed at women, but this chick flick should bring the men running in droves. "We're over-the-moon thrilled to have Jennifer Love Hewitt in this smart, wicked, sexy movie," says an Oxygen executive in a press release. Well, it's sexy for sure. How smart you think it is may depend on your movie IQ. Hewitt wasn't the "it girl" on "Party of Five," a role reserved on that show for Neve Campbell. But as one of the character's fiery girlfriends she immediately became a teen queen at 16. Hewitt has done several movies since, most notably playing Audrey Hepburn in an ABC biographical movie. She has also attracted an astonishing number of Internet admirers, to put it politely, but this has to be the sexiest part she's ever played. Hewitt stars as an advertising agency whiz who has serious eye trouble, and that's spelled with an I. Katya believes the world does, and should, revolve around her. She gets invited to all the best parties except a big ball thrown by a woman who dislikes her. Katya can't bear the thought of being left out, so she's willing to stoop to any lows or go to any heights to crash the bash. Along the way she bumps into the guy of her dreams and is momentarily distracted. She also gets a taste of her own medicine in the process. Hewitt is the centerpiece of this movie masquerading as a commercial for Wonderbras. It's based on a book of the same name, which Kelly Ripa picked for one of her book club selections. All right, so it's not "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," but it may send some temperatures rising. |
