An Official JLH Fanclub?

I know... a TRUE fan should be aware of this stuff [img]graemlins/depressed.gif[/img] but I'm wondering if there is or ever was an official Love fanclub? You know the kind where you pay membership and you get monthly newsletters, unique photos, special invites, etc.

No. There used to be one back in the day. I signed up and paid for it just as it went belly up and I got ripped for like 25 bucks. :mad:

Besides, this is the best place to be hand's down. :D

Yeah there used to be one years ago. They offered a couple of posters for sale and you got a black and white photo of Love. The photo was second rate. The poster was way overpriced. You did get a JLH fanclub membership card. It became instantly useless other than being a tiny collectable. They moved at one point to the state of Washington? Then they disappeared.

I still have that membership card somewhere. I'll try to find it and post it though it's nothing special, only a bit of Love history.

It sounds like the fanclub wasn't thought out properly. Does anyone know how much (if any) input Love had with the fan club?

I'm only guessing but I don't think Love had a thing to do with the fanclub. They never had any info saying they had some official position with Love. They never offered anything else other than those two items I mentioned before. At least that's all I know about the fanclub. I'll have to look at the date, if there was one, on my fanclub membership card to let you know how far back I have any knowledge about it. Meaning, if this fanclub went back more years maybe they had offered something with more substance. I just sort of doubt it.
