Love will be on the cover of TV GUIDE next week as THE FLYING NUN

The Insider tele-mag show showed Love posing for next week's TV Guide cover as THE FLYING NUN. Most of you probably don't know The Flying Nun, it was a '60's sitcom that starred Sally Field as Sister Bertrille, a nun that could fly.

Here's the cover that Love posed for, they photographed Love exactly like this:

The Insider mentioned this was one of nine different covers for next week, the theme being old TV show classics reshot with today's stars. Whenever TV Guide pulls this stunt the individual covers can be somewhat difficult to find, depending on the store that sells them, so make sure to get yours quickly.

TV Guide is about to switch over to a full size magazine format, too bad this is being released next week, just a couple of weeks before the magazine starts the large format.

The Insider's going to have a spot about the cover on Monday, too, so check it out if you can.

I remember watching The Flying Nun in reruns when I was little. I got a big kick out of seeing her fly. Gidget replayed, too, so it was weird seeing her on 2 shows ;) .

Oops, you're right I forgot to mention that important news! It may be best to consistently tape all the new airings of The Insider, Entertainment Tonight and possibly Access Hollywood in these popular days of Love's return to television. Pat O'Brien of The Insider said a beautiful thing about Love last week during the end credits of The Insider, he said something like "Great things come to nice people, congratulations Love".

Thanks for the info... I will try to look for it, but recent magazines in my area are pretty hard to find. Most places still have mags that were out before the hurricane...

They recreated classic TV covers using modern stars. There isnt supposed to be a connection. Regis and Kelly did "I dream of Jeannie"... It is just something TV guide is doing!

to get her "Melinda Gordon" character established
on "GW" without this...huh?

Just saw a mention of the TV Guide changeover
promotion in today's (Oct.4,05 DAILY NEWS)...
but, it showed every cover EXCEPT JLH....

I don't get that, since Love is/was a Valley
resident...and that magazine usually spotlights
what she does...for them to ignore her is odd...

Some people will see JLH on that cover and do
a double-take..."Is TV GUIDE trying to re-write
history?" LOL! Very cute, though....
