New JLH pics?? for trotter

some kind soul sent me an e-mail with these pics in it. there was no name attached to it so i have no clue who sent it. i wasnt even going to open it but im glad i did. to whoever sent them, tyvm. i have never seen these pics before so i figured i would make a sheet and post them here. these are all pretty HQ pics so if anyone here wants any of them, i will have to e-mail them. to make things easier, just tell me row 1,2,or3 and the number of the pic in the row and i will get whatever ones are wanted right out to you.

i put "for trotter" in the subject line because i havent seen these posted here and he is always posting some awesome pics. tyvm for all the excellent pics you post here trotter. hopefully some or all of these are pics you dont have yet.

those, and the few i got here this morning, are all i have right now. i killed my other computer and lost them all so im rebuilding my collection now. if you or anyone has anything they feel like sending me, i would appreciate it. my e-mail address is in my profile.

I'm sorry to hear about the death of your computer. I've killed a couple, myself, and if my current one doesn't stop acting up, another murder may happen soon [img]smile.gif[/img] (don't you just love the contrast of murder and a smiley face?).

I have somewhere around 5000 JLH pics, and I'm more than willing to share them all with you. My connection is slow and unreliable, so if you have a way for me to upload them to you, I'm game. That goes for anyone else who wants them. I got 90% of them here, many of them from Trotter, but also some from P2P things.

As far as the spread of pics above, I'd like all of them. I have versions of most if not all of those pics, but I'm not sure how H the Q is compared to what you just got [img]smile.gif[/img] . Could someone who could post them all without too much trouble make them available to everyone when he/she gets them?

well, to make it easier, i will zip all of these pics into one folder. they are just over 5MB and the smallest one is still larger then the sheet i posted. if anyone is interested in all of them, (you can always delete the ones you already have) just send me a pm with your e-mail or an e-mail and ill send them right out.

to Looking4Love; as for you sharing your pics, tyvm. i appreciate it. i have a 100 MB limit in my e-mail so send what you can to my e-mail address if you have the time. tyvm again and i will zip them pics and get them to you a.s.a.p. tomorrow.

as for the death of my computer, it was a shock to me it lasted as long as it did. im pretty rough on my computers and for what alot of people consider a cheap "no name" computer, it outlasted any dell, HP, or gateway ive ever owned. thats why i bought another "no name" one. i need to know how to get these pics to you. they are too large to post here. if you send me a PM or an e-mail with a way for me to get them to you, i would be glad to.

i have been getting pics literaly by the hundreds, and sending them out just as fast as i get them, so if i already got these to you leave me a PM and let me know.

on another note, i just bought another copy of photoshop (finally!) so i will be working on some new wallpapers soon, especially now that i have quite a few new pics i didnt have before. as soon as i get a couple done, i will post them here.

Hey John... consider using an image host like http://photobucket.com/ or http://imageshack.us/index3.php to upload the pics you want for free and then post the links here in the forum. It's a lot easier than sending out hundreds of images by email... and more people would benefit...
I've got over 15,000 images of JLH and over a hundred thousand Celebrity images in general as I post on celebrity boards all over the internet as a hobby to stay in tune with the movie community(I'm a writer by choice, a puter tech by necessity) so having recently gotten a high speed connection, it's become easier to share my collection throught the net with others that are interested. Just trying to help with some thoughts on distribution.

nah don't bother with photobucket since there's a 250kb limit and since these are HQs they're probably bigger than 250kb. as for imageshack i dont know since i dont use it

the best free image host would be http://mywebpage.netscape.com, which has a larger file size limit at 1MB and is completely free and easy to use. you should really use it to upload all those pics and then post the links to them here so you an save yourself from e-mailing everyone the pics ;)

the best free image host would be http://mywebpage.netscape.com, which has a larger file size limit at 1MB and is completely free and easy to use. you should really use it to upload all those pics and then post the links to them here so you an save yourself from e-mailing everyone the pics ;) </font>[/quote]i considered using image hosting services like those mentioned but for me it is easier to zip the pics into a file and e-mail them. trying to upload pics 1 by one, or even 10 at a time, is much more time consuming then sending a zip file through e-mail. i have webspace through my isp and considered posting some there but as ive seen here, i think the fans here would use up my bandwidth there pretty quickly. as for free hosting, the largest ive heard of is 1MB and i have some pics that are far above that. i have a handful of pics (.bmp's) that range from 15-22 MB. i have converted them to .jpg's and they are still between 2-4 MB so other then e-mailing them, i dont know of a better way to share them. yahoo has free e-mail with a 10MB limit on transfers and 100 MB storage so for me, thats my best bet. if i send too many through one name, i have a couple dozen others i can use until yahoo just bans me alltogether. lol. TYVM for your suggestions. if anyone else knows of an easier, better way for me to share these pics, let me know.

also, one "off topic" question. i post here on a couple other boards and posted a pic that was deemed to be too large. i have noticed some people here posting some fairly large pics, multiple pics, wallpapers, etc and i was wondering what the preferred size limit for this board is? i dont want to post anything thats too big and i dont want to lag anyone on dial up.
also, if someone could tell me how to post the images as thumbs, that would solve the problem itself. i know i dont care to click on a link for a pic only to find its one i have already, or one i may not care for. posting thumbs would allow for a preview so the people here wouldnt have to click the thumb to get the larger pic if they didnt want it. again, tyvm for the help and for any further help anyone can give me.
