JLH was in LOS ANGELES on Aug.8!

I normally don't place much value in tabloids,
BUT the "Star", just available today, shows
a very interesting photo of JLH with a guy

(NOT Ben Howard!!) from ONLY THREE DAYS AGO!!

This item concerns Sunday, August 8....with JLH
at the Teru Sushi restaurant (she's been there
at least twice before, in Studio City)and the
guy was named as Jake Gwellenthal [sic], he
being some kind of soap-opera actor or something
...I don't understand the reference to her
drinking sake, that's Japanese fermented rice
WINE...which has alcohol...?!

Although I've seen two posts on various boards
of JLH being in Canada, this makes one wonder...
WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON??

Sometimes fans either are mistaken...or even
lying...about some of these sightings... :confused:

Interesting...though I don't put much stock into entertainment 'news' myself. Too much of it is just gossip. It's rarely presented as just what it is. There always has to be some twist to it.

In this instance, it seems plausible to me that she was in L.A. on the 8th, and then in Canada yesterday. She lives in L.A., right? It's not that far [img]smile.gif[/img] . As for being there with someone other than her supposed boyfriend, so what. Maybe she's friends with this other guy. Maybe they were discussing future projects together. Maybe they were hungry at the same time and both wanted Japanese food. And if she drank sake, big deal. She's over 21. And while she may not be a drinker, per se, I don't think she's ever said that she absolutely never drinks alcohol. It's not like she got trashed and went crazy or anything. People are just too darned nosy.

At any rate, thanks for the news, though. For those of us who are just interested in Love and her projects, etc., it's nice to know where she might be so that we can meet her or whatever.

I hope that I didn't come across as "attacking the messenger." I just really despise the paparazzi and those whose only 'contribution' in life is to (often unfairly and untruthfully) profit off of famous people. Famous or not, they're people, too, and deserve some level of privacy.

I'm done ranting now ;) .

You can go from L.A. to Canada in the matter of 2-3 hours through the air. I really doubt anyone is lying about seeing her, especially someone who has been here for years. Filming is scheduled to have started.

As for Jake Gyllenhaal, he's not a soap actor, he's in movies.

Thanks for the info. Although, am I the only one who feels like all these gossip stories are treated like an FBI investigation? I don't think anything is "going on", lol. She's just living her life, trying to figure things out from afar is when you run in to trouble.

It's not like Love is telling us all of these conflicting stories herself. Who knows exactly which parts of which stories are actually true? Keep in mind fom where most of the information is coming and that it is incomplete at best and likely innaccurate.

Why do you assume every guy that she is pictured with she is dating? Second, the only one I remember seeing a picture of her kissing was Pardue. Third, she denies it because either it's not true or it's none of anybody's damn business.


Ron, you usually rip the tabloids for saying that JLH has a boyfriend. Now that they are hinting that she is not exclusive with this Ben Howard guy by her going out with someone else, you agree with them. What gives? That is actually a rhetorical question.....I know what gives.

A scan would be nice. Or a quick typing up of what it says. I don't get Star Magazine in my area. I only get a watered down version that comes in the Sunday paper which is full of more ads for local businesses then anything about celebs.

because i know how the real world works, i know its probably really hard for you to imagine what its like to be an attractive person with a social life but please bare with me. FRIENDS are people youve known for years and share common interests with, FRIENDS are not guys that you go out to dinner with for a couple of months and then are never seen with again. everyone here seems to think it has to be either 'friend' or 'boyfriend', why cant it be just 'latest guy shes hooking up with' ,whats wrong with that? and whether its anyones business or not is purely opinion, thats what happens when you become a celebrity, your life becomes public and people everywhere can chat about it on message boards and in return you have to live with the plight of having millions of dollars.

Another rumor I read somewhere is that www.imdb.com says Scarlett Johansson has asked her reps to set up a date with Jake. I read this a couple of days ago, the 9th or 10th.
