| Junior Member  |  I wonder how they are always able to be where ever JLH is to take her picture ? Do they camp out in front of her house 24/7 and then follow her whenever she leaves the house ? Does this happen to every star or is JLH more "vulnerable" for some reason? Maybe since she is a petite female they take advantage of her more so than if she was a tough looking male star ? Some of these paparazzi do get "punched out" by some celebrities. |

| A recent L.A. Times article reveals that the W. Hollywood paparazzi "hot zone" has stores whereby paparazzi can BRIBE the employees into letting them know when a certain star is coming by....unless the star has a regular schedule, this is a one-shot deal... With JLH there seems to be no schedule.... |

| . | So who actually lives on a schedule? There's an entire network of people who give tips to photographers in Hollywood. They even had a TV special on those resellers on the E! Network a few months ago. E! also had that series of shows filming the autograph collectors in Hollywood. The autograph industry has been around for many many years now. I have visited a couple of the shops along Hollywood Blvd who cater to the tourist trade. All those shops have hundreds of autographs on their walls, all with a pricetag. I've talked to a few of these shop owners who say they have a regular bunch of autograph sellers who come in to sell their items to them. Many of them make a living at it, selling autos to these shops and selling on EBAY. One day when I was shopping in one of those shops I witnessed one of these guys who was dropping famous names at a feverish rate. The hollow thing about the guy was he had met so many of these people that he didn't find any excitement in getting most of those autographs, it was just a business for him. You may recall Graphracker at the Safesearching board, Ronald, remember he mentioned he had a friend who would call him whenever a star (or Love) was sited, and he'd race over to get autographs. He reported at the Safesearching board about meeting Love several times. Graphracker was probably another one of those very same sellers. |

| Lovely  | ^see i'm not so sure about the respect part. Love choose a career that's in the spotlights. she knew what was going to happen if she would become "big." the paparazzi's are just doing their job. if its Love, Cameron Diaz or Pamela friggin Anderson, they dont care, as long as they get their pics. they knew what was going to happen when they choose their jobs as paparazzi. They're both doing their job, that's how simple as it is. ofcourse it's not fun for anyone to be chased around by people such as the paparazzi and when Love signed she choose for acting and singing and NOT the paparazzi. but it's just the thing that comes with the package. same with paparazzi. do you think they enjoy sitting in a tree for hours waiting for the 30 seconds a celebrity passes by? sure, the first three times it's exciting but after a while they also realize celebs are just people. they are just trying to earn a living, nothing more nothing less. food has to be on the table and that's the career they have chosen. you cant blame the paparazzi for taking pics. you CAN however blame the people who buy the tabloids that include the pics. in some reason we're also responsable for Love being chased by paparazzi. we spread the pictures on internet, we buy the magazines. | Administrator  | My friend is a paparazzi in Florida and California. He works as a team with 4 or 5 others. Originally he did it to pay for college but it makes a lot of money so he dropped out. The paparazzi want the people who are hot at the moment and JLH on the top of there list right now. They also go after celebs doing wild or bad things. 99% of the pictures they take are worth nothing, the rest are worth a hundred maybe a few hundred. Most paparazzi wait along time for the big money shots that are worth 10,000+. They have sources everywhere, most of them are locals and they know a lot of people, and they also call hotels where celebs are more likely to stay and ask the desk person to connect to the celeb that they know is in the area, now the person usualy doesnt tell them, but anyone who sounds weird on the phone, they send a member to stake it out. Some paparazzi are very mean, they will create situations and take advantage of the celeb, like the people who trapped Reese Witherspoon or rammed Lindsay Lohan’s car. Some also try to start fight and call bad names and spit in front of them just to get the picture of them pissed, and these paparazzi would love it if a celeb hit them, money shot plus law suit. Did you know in the United State tabloid magazines are the highest selling magazine. |
