Jennifer loves the paparazzi?

This must be a first -- a Hollywood celeb who actually likes paparazzi.

Jennifer Love Hewitt says she has ``met lots of really nice ones who are lovely people.''

In an interview with Access Hollywood, she said: ``Paparazzi should not be lumped into the group of these monsters who treat people badly.''

She told how one photographer recently rescued her when her car broke down -- and didn't take advantage of the situation to get a shot of her.

``He ran and got me a tank of gas for my car so I could drive to the gas station.''

But she allowed that not all her experiences with celebrity photographers have been good.

``I've met a lot of them that are frankly kind of scary and push the limits and get too much in your face. I think a law to protect celebrities from the ones that are not so good may not be a bad idea.''

She's just naturally good natured so that probably leads to better interactions than the confrontational Russell Crowe types.

I definitely think a lot of paparazzi go too far these days.

Silly remark when you look at her most recent shots out shopping. Not one bodyguard, but two. She's obviously getting tired of these guys following her from right outside her front door.

She said: " NOT EVERY Paparazzi should be lumped into the group of these monsters who treat people badly.''

Which is DIFFERENT.

In other words, she didn't mean that she likes ALL paparazzis.
