| My family uses digital cable for the main TV and normal cable for the other sets and I get to watch JLH every week. And it is indeed a great thing to get to do that every week once again. BTW, this last week's GW was yet another solid reason Jennifer was nominated for her 2nd People's Choice and why she's going to win her 2nd People's Choice. Don't know why but I can just feel it happening for her...again. My $.02. Out! |

Usually the international release of American shows is a bit delayed to those places they do end up. The show has to be successful enough stateside to have something to show the international audience first. For non-English speakers, there's the whole dubbing/subtitling processs, too. That's after all of the money stuff is sorted out with the foreign distributors and all of that. There's always the Internet, though. I use it to see shows on channels I don't get, both foreign and domestic. I really liked the BBC's The Office and Spaced. Plus shows on Showtime and HBO (to which I don't subscribe) like Huff and Entourage are good, too. I also use the web to get episodes I missed for whatever reason. Having a fast connection helps with that ;) . [ November 20, 2005, 02:23 AM: Message edited by: Looking4Love ] |

| GW is not on in Denmark yet but I have noticed that old movies with Love are popping up a lot right now and she is in the tabloids much more, so my guess is that GW will be on in the spring. Now I just hope that she will come over to Europe to promote the show and maybee Garfield2 |

| Member ![]() ![]() | There are some european sat's available in my area such as HotBird, Astra, Eutelsat, Intelsat, Thor, Sirius. I have satellite dish on my balcony tuned in to HotBird. Maybe there is such a channel (transmitting american shows, in particular GW) on HotBird, but i dunno, because the half of channels is locked (payment and special card are required). If i knew what certain channel i need, i would buy the card. Maybe someone who lives in Europe knows. But as Brent said there is possibility to download episodes via internet. For example, from here: www.ghost-whisperer.com. However i have to warn anyone that payment is required for download and i haven't dealed with this site myself yet. And of course in the end we'll get GW in Moscow on our broadband channels but i think it'll be in the end of the next year, not earlier. As for older JLH films on our TV, we have them very rarely.
