| LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Fast National ratings for Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 CBS got consistent performances from all three of its dramas Friday night, leading the network to an across-the-board ratings win. For the night, CBS averaged a 7.9 rating/14 share, beating its closest competitors by a pretty wide margin. NBC, 5.0/9, skated past ABC, 4.9/9, in the race for second. UPN finished fourth at 3.1/5, followed by FOX, 2.4/4, and The WB, 2.2/4. CBS also took the top spot among adults 18-49, drawing a 3.4 rating in the premium ad demographic. ABC was second at 2.5, ahead of NBC's 2.0. UPN averaged 1.7, FOX 1.4 and The WB 1.3. "Ghost Whisperer" led off the night for CBS with a 7.7/14 at 8 p.m. ABC's "Supernanny," 4.5/8, edged out "Dateline NBC" for second place. "Friday Night Smackdown!" scored a 2.9/5 for UPN, beating the 2.4/4 average for FOX's "Bernie Mac Show" and "Malcolm in the Middle." The WB went with "What I Like About You" and a "Reba" repeat. CBS stayed on top at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 7.8/13. A second hour of "Dateline" averaged 4.8/8 for NBC, moving ahead of ABC's "Hope & Faith," 4.9/8, and "Hot Properties," 4.0/7. "Smackdown!" kept its hold on fourth place. "Killer Instinct" posted a 2.5/4 for FOX, topping "Reba" and "Twins," which averaged 2.3/4 for The WB. At 10 p.m., CBS' "Numb3rs" earned the night's best rating, 8.2/14. A rerun of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" posted a 6.0/11 for NBC, and "20/20" came in at 5.9/10 for ABC. |

| Damn but the best just keeps getting better and better for JLH. You know we've all heard the Net rumors that JLH does read from sites dedicated to her (including message boards) and on that I'd say now if she did read Fanhost I'd like to say the following: if it turns out she wins the People's Choice for GW here's an idea for what she could say in her victory speech. In the words of former Detroit Piston point guard Isiah Thomas: "Wow! You know something, Heaven must be like this! Heaven...must be like this!" Out! |
