2002 Teen Choice Summer Music Mania

Hello, All! Don, was kind enough to share with me the video that he made of Love's appearance at the 2002 Teen Choice Summer Music Mania. As promised my first born will be named either Don or Donnetta. I really hope that it's not a girl!

The name of the file is, jennifer_love_hewitt_summermusicmania_5-29-02_don015.m2v and it's 344MB.

If you regularly post here and you would like to have a copy of this video, PM me with the words Music Mania in the line that's provided for the "Subject:". Also, please include your email address within the body of the message. Each upload to YouSendIt.Com allows for 25 downloads. If the number of requests is too great, I hope that one or more of my friends here will volunteer to share the load. (Alex, that's a hint. :D )

I'll wait until tomorrow to check my PM and I will upload the file at my leisure. I hate to say this, but I must. If you've only made a handful of posts here, you're request will take a back seat to the requests of more established members of this community. If you're little more than a lurker here, don't bother asking at all. While I'd like to, I simply don't have the time to make everyone happy.

Unfortunately, I won't have time to upload it to Nicole's server tonight since it's almost 3AM and it'll take me a full hour to do so. But I promise to do it tomorrow. If you lost the password, PM me. If you never got a password, don't even ask.

UPDATE: I've decided to recompress the file to a smaller size (without changing anything - same cut with all credits). It's the usual quality of my videos (for those who've seen them) but the new file is 5 times smaller (around 75MB). Please tell me if you'd rather have the small file or the huge file. Visually, it's somewhat similar. The image is still nice. I just think that a lot of people will enjoy a smaller, more manageable download.

I saw your post offering to share and host an altered verision of this vid that I created. You may think that ppl would appreciate the smaller size, but did you think about how the capper would feel about you re-doing his work and re-posting??

Well I will tell you my view, I don't appreciate it. Especially on the same board that my original was posted many times ago. I made that vid the way I wanted and that's how I expect it to be shared. I could care less what ppl do with the vids, but when I see ppl reposting altered versions on the very same message board, it does not sit well, and would ask you not to do this in the future. You want to cap a video, get your own source and make your own, don't alter my clips and share them.

And my reply to this...

Hey Don. I understand your point of view but I don't agree with it. You post media files on the internet that contain images from diverse sources and you are not the copyright holder of these. By sharing them, you have to expect somebody somewhere will alter them. It may suck but it's a reality. I did not alter credits of the source nor did I say that the clip was mine. I only made it smaller to accomodate people who consider 344MB an impossible file size to download. I consider that what I did was respectful of your work. I don't want be a ***** but I surely won't see my digital liberties restrained "cuz you say so".

I've decided not to share this video. Sorry but I'm not gonna get in some stupid fight regarding file size. In fact, if I have to deal with this sort of sh!t, I'd rather quit the whole sharing scene.

too bad another let down for slow speed users. i was looking forward to getting something more manageable.
