Former Baywatch babe and Starsky and Hutch actress Carmen Electra has a new fitness DVD - Fit to Strip Volume 2, which shows you how you can strip your way to a new figure.

It's the second in the ‘striptease aerobics’ series that has become the hottest Hollywood workout craze, with celebrity followers such as Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Strength and tone

Featuring aerobic routines that focus on strengthening and toning, and mini-workouts for hips, bums and abs, the DVD was innovated by Carmen and top fitness guru to the stars, Michael Carson.

There will eventually be five DVD's in total - Advanced Aerobics Striptease (Volume 3) released on 7th March, Lap Dance & Hip Hop (Volume 4 and 5) released on 9th May and the Work out box set which isn't out till 23rd October.

I read about it today in some newsletter of a dvd site. But I didn't know that Love was mentioned.

Neither did I. In fact I didn't read the newsletter. Before Ronald33 comes on and makes a big "Scott/JLH" deal of this lemme get this off: in terms of JLH practicing this as part of her fitness regimen and in terms of her always saying she's a good girl and trying to keep that image there's two distinct possiblities: She's either practicing this alone when Scott's not around. Or she's practicing with Scott as the only audience and is keeping that part of it very, very, very quiet. Just my $.02 (being these possibilities IMO are the only ways it can go). I am out!

This is actually another old story as well. A couple of DVD sellers on EBAY have repeatedly dropped Love's name in their sales pitch for this Carmen workout DVD for several months now. You guys added Scott's name to this thread, and I can't figure out why, other than fantasizing that Love may be performing this workout for him. Silly, has anyone seen any footage of this video? Sure, Carmen's red hot and I loved watching the couple of clips they've used to promote it, but it's just eye candy. Carmen's just using her fantastic looks to sell a very amateur DVD. Besides the sizzling hot shots of Carmen there's absolutely no professional workout to speak of. The clips I've seen are pretty funny too. Conan O'Brien and others haved teased her about it when she's visited their talkshows. It's plainly being marketed to men; softcore veiled as workout.
