Two Movies in England in February

Two movies are coming to London. Both have
some connection to JLH...

Of course, most of you know about the premiere
of "The Truth About Love", on Feb. 14, Valen-
tine's Day.

But, 3 days before, the movie I'm in,"Mayor of the Sunset Strip", is opening to the general public. It, of course, contains my parody song
"Jennifer Love Hewitt"(I'm billed as "Ronald
Vaughan").

Is that Feb 14 London premiere date for certain? I can't find "news" of this anywhere else -- except on a Dougray Scott fan site. This is what I read there:

So far I've checked all the new movie magazines in the UK, and checked all the release dates, and I can't see The Truth About Love listed anywhere... :(

I hope there isn't another problem with a Love movie, but I will let you know if I hear anything.... [img]smile.gif[/img]

REAL name...if you'd seen the movie I'm
in you would know I have a DIFFERENT name
for a STAGE name...but no, I DON'T subscribe
to tabloids, they are a waste of money!

LOL!! why in the world would anyone want to do that?! Movie "premieres" by their very nature are spectacles, meant to attract attention. What kind of marketing genius would come up with the idea of keeping a movie premiere a "secret"? "Hey, let's spend millions of dollars on a film ... and NOT tell anyone it's opening!!" This isn't some phenomenon where they're afraid thousands of fans will show up and riot! There's no reason to keep this thing a secret ... chances are, the premiere has been postponed to an undetermined date.

Well, Valentine's Day came and went, and nobody mentioned anything about "The Truth About Love" being released. So does this mean that this movie is in trouble, too? Or has it possibly been pushed back for a later release date?
