Another website has a provision for "saving
favorite posts, etc." ....

Could this one get that facility?
Sometimes this website has photos/stories
not shown elsewhere...I would like to
archive them somehow, and don't have a
regular computer...

I have no clue, but the hosting of photos is definitely very temporary. They die off after a short while. It costs money to store anything even for a short while. I have no idea what they do over at SafeSearching. You posted this question in the wrong forum. Try posting it as a question for the staff. Maybe Bowl will answer.
