| I read about this today, in the Valley's "Daily News" (page 2)...but the story implied that JLH (and the other show's star) would actually BE there...at 6000 W. Santa Monica Bl. (@ Gower St.)...that's south of Hollywood... LOL! Looks like the Publicist from Hell dreamed up this one...I'm going to sit it out, looks WAY too creepy...but if JLH signs any picnic blankets (Duh?) let us know! But, "Ghost Whisperer" is ALSO going to be screened at The Museum of Radio & TV (both Beverly Hills and New York) on Sept. 14, 7 PM (with a "party" [light refreshments?snacks? @ 6:30 PM.) The stars are NOT listed as going to attend this one... |

| Different, but hey, it's clearly a different type of cemetery. Screenings happen there all the time. It is right next to Paramount Studios, where I believe both the shows are taped. http://www.ent-today.com/features/jul04/f071604_hmf.htm http://www.hollywood-underground.com/hfarticle2.htm http://www.hollywood-underground.com/hfarticle3.htm [ September 09, 2005, 12:03 AM: Message edited by: TC Visitor ] |

Hollywood Forever Cemetery 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, USA With its revived grounds and mediagenic approach, this celebrity-filled cemetery (formerly named Hollywood Memorial Park) is well worth a visit. The lush gardens, lakes, and spectacular views of the hollywood sign and Griffith Park Observatory (whose founder, Griffith J. Griffith, rests here) make it a good spot for an afternoon walk; you can pick up a map of the grounds in the gift shop. Among the graves are those of Cecil B. DeMille, Douglas Fairbanks Sr., and Mel Blanc, voice of many Warner Bros. cartoon characters, whose headstone reads, "That's all, folks!" Rock guitarist Dee Dee Ramone recently arrived under his given name, Douglas Glenn Colvin. The large Grecian tomb in the center of the lake belongs to philanthropist William A. Clark Jr., founder of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Inside the Cathedral Mausoleum is Rudolph Valentino's crypt, stained red from many lipstick kisses. For years, a mysterious "Lady in Black" visited Valentino's tomb on the anniversary of his death; now there's a "Lady in Black" tour guide on weekends. During the summer, films starring Valentino and other interred residents are screened on the mausoleum's outer wall. The cemetery also shows video memorials and digital scrapbooks of those recently interred. OPEN: Daily 8-5. Where else but Hollywood eh? Nothing warms the heart like shopping at a cemetery gift shop. Don't feel offended, it's just Hollywood, besides many people actually celebrate the dead, what's Halloween's original roots anyway? Many countries visit their dead on Halloween and even have a dinner there. Many similar human rituals throughout the world. I know I know, not quite the same thing with a television series premiere.
