LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ed O'Neill ("Married... With Children") has been tapped to co-star in ABC's untitled Jennifer Love Hewitt comedy pilot.

Hewitt stars as an on-air reporter on a sports TV show and a single mom. O'Neill will play the show's executive producer. His credits include the features "Spartan," "The Bone Collector" and "The Spanish Prisoner," and the series "L.A. Dragnet."

Ah yes Al Bundy. He's a bit deadpan but I like him too. It's great to hear they picked up a co-star that actually has comedic abilities.
