Trotter & Tommy:
As you can see from the trailer, it's a beautiful-looking film that deserves to be seen on the big screen. So I certainly hope that everyone gets to see it that way. Having said that, I do think that everyone will get a chance to see this film someday -- whether that's in movie theaters, on TV or DVD. This is not like D & DW where there are legal issues that could prevent its release. This is about a company that had a chance to get the movie released by a major studio and blew it -- so they have since been trying to salvage the situation. The movie's too good to disappear or be shelved, so I do believe at the very least, we'll see it on TV within the next year (which sounds like a long damn time away, but just think ... Love left for England to start shooting this film literally two years ago!) still have my fingers crossed, as I think it's Love's best film, her best acting and the scenes where she sings (especially with the orchestra) are fantastic. |
